So, I am a little off schedule with my little project. Life's been a little crazy and I was busy doing shots of this little guy....

and these fun high school students........

but here are the pictures of my beautiful daughter. If only you could hear her giggle over the computer, or hear her sing throughout the house, you too would fall in the love with this sweet girl!

A Family Heirloom - Week 2

So, I had great visions for my two year olds photo session. Goody's ice cream parlor. Sunny, warm May evening. Cute summer dress. Those who are in the Boise area know that wasn't happenning this weekend!! Plan B: Her great grandmother's 100 year old rocking chair she had as a toddler. Result: priceless heirloom shots.

"Can we be done now?!"

P.S. I am warning you that all of my children have amazing eyes!

My Five Week Project - Week 1

Five weeks - Five locations - Five Children

After watching Julie & Julia I decided I wanted my own little challenge.

Why five weeks? Well, it's not worth my sanity or my marriage to do a fun little project and be stressed out.

Five locations? There are so many fun and beautiful locations around the Boise area and it's time I start using them more!

Five children? It just so happens that I am the personal chef, driver, housekeeper, teacher, nurturer (AKA Mom) to the most adorable five children!

Seriously, we are in so much trouble in a few years with those incredible eyes!!

My Little Model

I recently took a photography workshop and needed a model for a chilly morning shoot at the Train Depot. I decided to take my Hailey. (Excuse the crazy hair, it matched the crazy morning with soccer games and getting a family of 7 out the door!) There were about 15 photographers taking pictures on the only shaded side of the Depot. I felt bad for some of the photographers who's models stood there awkwardly getting their photo taken. Not my Hailey, she flashed her personality and the rest is history!
